The bonus of the Naval Museum is that it is located in a great old colonial house. It is also free of change. Most of the descriptions are in French even though the official language here is supposed to be English. The grounds of the museum are also home to other government departments like the beach conservation department and the Conservation Laboratory. The extremely ironic thing about the Conservation Lab is that it has a logo of a Dodo which were made extinct by the Dutch over 200 years ago. They clearly have high hopes for their Lab.
