Christmas in Manila

The decorations started going up in September and just kept getting more and more ornate. They ranged from Christmas trees in the middle of canals; oversized nativity scenes hanging off office buildings (third photo middle right); overly illuminated parks and miles of sleighs and reindeer in the middle of main roads. Overkill is the only way to describe it.
