A Visit to Ile Egrettes

This small limestone island only 800 metres off shore is a National Park where there is a breeding program for the endangered Pink Pigeon. There are only 400 in captivity and all of those are on Mauritius. If there is an island to be had in this region there is also a home for tortoises and the occasional endangered lizard.
